What are Be Shades made from?

Be Shades are made from a strong but flexible polycarbonate and coated with a smooth, matt rubber coating.  The lenses are made from impact resistant polycarb and are UV400 blocking out 100% of harmful UVA and UVB rays.  All of our products meet CE and FDA regulations.

What are the benefits of polarised lenses?

Polarised lenses have a special coating that will reduce the glare from reflective surfaces (i.e when the sun’s rays reflect off a solid surface or water). Polarised lenses are treated with that special chemical film that neutralises the glare which makes objects much clearer and the harmful effects of the glare on the eyes are reduced.

How do I know they'll fit me?

Be Shades are a standard one-size fits all range and we're pretty sure they'll fit you!

 

Where do I enter my discount code?

You lucky thing!!  Discount codes are entered during step 2 of the checkout process, once you've logged in to your Paypal account / entered your payment details.  You'll be re-directed back to the Be Shades site at which point you can enter your code and that amount will be deducted before your payment is taken. 

Is payment secure?

Yes...very secure. All of your details are encrypted using the best SSL 256-bit security encryption at every stage of your order. Furthermore we won’t see any of your card details so you can rest assured that when you enter these it is not shared with anyone. Not even us.

How long does shipping take?

Once you place an order, please allow 2-3 business days before the item is shipped.  All UK orders are mailed using a Hermes courier. For UK orders please allow 2-5 business days.  If you have any special requests please contact us at shipping@beshades.co.uk - extra charges will be applied.

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes - for European orders please allow 5-7 working days and for 'rest of the world' please all 10-14 working days.

Do you inspect products before they are shipped?

We always check all our products before they leave. Our staff check the lenses, hinges, clips and absolutely everything and will ‘sign off’ each pair to make sure they are in perfect condition before leaving us.

What if I think there is a fault with my product?

We hope we never send out a faulty product because we make sure all our sunglasses are in top condition before they leave home. But if you think there is a problem please email us at customerservices@beshades.co.uk and we will rectify the problem quickly.

How can I become a Brand Ambassador?

We love people who love Be Shades....so show us some love on your favourite social media sites and shoot us an email telling us why you think we need you as part of the family to ambassadors@beshades.co.uk.  Generally we offer two kinds of ambassadorships - one for professional athletes and another for those who have popular social media sites (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc).  You do seriously need to make that email stand out!
